ACHD Achieves PHAB Accreditation

The Auglaize County Health Department is excited to announce we have achieved national accreditation status through the Public Health Accreditation Board (PHAB) ! Accreditation is a rigorous process that shows our commitment to quality and performance improvement, collaboration, and public health practice. We are proud to have our work and programs nationally recognized and remain committed to the health and wellbeing of our community!

PHAB is the non-profit organization that administers the national accreditation program for Tribal, state, local, and territorial health department s. To receive accreditation, a health department must undergo a rigorous, multi-faceted, peer-reviewed assessment to ensure it meets or exceeds a set of quality standards and measures.

Accreditation promotes consistency across the country through health departments meeting standards. As more health departments become accredited, the public will soon be able to receive the same quality, foundational public health services wherever they go in the United States.

Healthy Families Auglaize County Site Accredited

It is with great pleasure that we announce our Help Me Grow Home Visiting Program in Auglaize County has been accredited by Healthy Families America® (HFA) as a provider of high-quality HFA home visiting services.

The Healthy Families America (HFA) accreditation process is designed to identify individual sites and multi-site systems that have achieved high standards for performance and a commitment to quality. HFA is proud to grant Healthy Families Auglaize County accreditation.

Congratulations to our Help Me Grow Home Visiting team for all of their hard work in achieving accreditation, especially our very own home visitor, Kathy Moellenkamp!
